So many January's start with resolutions to get organized - in all areas of our lives. And so many fade out only a few months later. I don't want to see that happen to you, as I know how much freedom comes from living an organized lifestyle.
With that in mind, I have created a new worksheet, The Project Plan, that will be available as a free download to help you create a do-able list that you can stick to for the long haul. And in the TCO podcast, Pete and I give pointers and tips about how to build your projects and set your goals around this plan.
We want to see you be successful this year meeting your goals - whatever they are - and I have found these four components are key to making that happen:
Have a vision for where you see yourself and plan your steps. This is where using the Project Planner as your guideline will be helpful!
Give yourself time! You are on a journey, a work in progress. Though you may feel it's not fast enough, don't give up. Know that there will be ups and downs through this process and be kind to yourself, having patience and knowing that change is coming.
You have to be persistent when old habits and patterns return that get in the way of your new plan. Be honest and see things as they really are. Even if you feel like giving up, realize that tomorrow is a new day - a second chance to make a different choice.
This is what we need to overcome obstacles and setbacks and achieve the results we desire. It's a huge component of success in anything and is something to be very proud of and always strive for.
I am always excited at the turning of a new calendar page and with it the potential of changing to become who we desire to be. And at TCO, we will be here with more strategies and resources to help you on your journey!
Until Next Time...
