Find Your Support

Recently on Taking Control: The ADHD Podcast, Pete and I sat down to talk with James and Jules Ochoa.

We asked James about some tips on how to find a support system that works after receiving an ADHD diagnosis.

One tip James mentioned was to save your money.

It can be expensive to find therapists, coaches, and psychiatrists that can help you navigate your ADHD. Before you start writing those checks, do some research to find out how you can get the help you need without spending an arm and a leg to get there.

If you’d like to know more about best practices to finding support through your ADHD diagnosis, check out the rest of the conversation with James and Jules here to learn more.

Later in the conversation, we spoke with James and Jules about the second season of their podcast, The Complex, set to come out later this year.

If you’d like to learn more about The Complex and what it’s all about, check out an episode of Taking Control: The ADHD Podcast from our archives here where we talk with James and Jules about Season 1.

Finally, if you are looking for a resource to navigate your ADHD, you might want to try Focus Forward: Navigating the Storms of Adult ADHD, a book written by our guest, James Ochoa.

Thank you for your time and attention,

-Nikki
