Organizing with ADHD: Not Finishing is OK!

When good enough is good enough!

In our podcast, Quick Organizing Tips, I talk about this idea of good enough is good enough.

This is a really hard concept to understand, especially for people who want things to be perfect or why do them at all?

Oh wait! That’s black and white thinking!

With black and white thinking there is no good enough.

You have two options and one of the options actually doesn’t exist…..there is no such thing as perfection!

So when it comes to organizing your space, it doesn’t mean you have to organize your whole space. To be successful doesn’t even mean that the whole drawer has to be completed.

It’s ok to not finish, really!

Is it nice to finish a project, sure, but is it necessary? No.

Give yourself permission to let go of the end result and do what you can without guilt but with pride.

Anything you do is a step forward and each step gets you closer to the top of the staircase!

Thank you for your time and attention,

-Nikki
