What Your Kid Wants You to Know About ADHD

Being the parent of a kid or teen with ADHD can be complicated.

On top of school, extracurriculars, friends, and home life, you are faced with the difficulties that can crop up with ADHD.

Because ADHD is so often misunderstood, it can be hard to know when ADHD is the culprit behind your child’s behavior, and more importantly, how to handle it.

Dr. Sharon Saline asks a great question to parents in her book What Your ADHD Child Wishes You Knew:

...do you really understand what having ADHD is like for them? What difference would that make in your daily parenting struggles to help them grow into responsible, competent, and happy adults?
