Creating a Vision Board

Recently, I was working with a client who was struggling to keep on top of her goals. If they weren’t in front of her, she would often forget about them.

I’m sure many of you can relate. It had been a while since I created a vision board, so my client and I decided to take on the challenge of creating our own vision boards together.

If you're having a difficult time remembering your goals or why they matter so much, I invite you to join us!

Here are a few tips to get started:

What is a vision board?

A vision board is a place for you to display your goals and dreams in a visual way. The purpose is to keep these goals in front of you, so you don’t forget what is most important to you. The board is meant to inspire and motivate you.

What should go on a vision board?

You can put whatever you want on your board! Pinterest is a great place to start as there are a lot of vision board ideas on the site. I think it’s important to have things you want in life, like a car or home, but it’s also important to express how you want to feel and show up in your life. What words mean the most to you? Do you have specific quotes that mean something to you? The possibilities are endless and completely up to you.

How do you make a vision board?

Well there is the old school way and there is a tech way. The old school way is using any kind of bulletin board or poster board. You can make it as fancy or simple as you like using personal photos, cut out photos from magazines, quotes, words that have meaning, etc. The tech way is finding an App you like. Recently, a client suggested the Hay House Vision Board App, or you can Click Here find a list of others.

Challenge: Take some time this week, to create your own vision board. Have fun with it and dream as big as you can!

What you focus on grows...

Until Next Time,

Nikki
