Comorbidity Recap

Have you ever heard of a ‘comorbid’ condition?

A comorbid condition or diagnosis simply means two or more conditions that are occurring at the same time. Comorbid conditions are usually chronic or long-term illnesses or disorders.

Over the last six weeks on The ADHD Podcast, we have been exploring the comorbid conditions most commonly associated with ADHD.

Pete and I thoroughly enjoyed this series because we got to learn so much from a fantastic array of medical experts. It was so nice to be able to better understand what someone experiences when they have one or more of these comorbid conditions and how they affect and are affected by ADHD.

Our hope is that this series will continue to bring understanding and awareness to the ADHD community and beyond about these prevalent disorders that often come along with an ADHD diagnosis.

Below, I have put together a list of all six episodes this informative series. I encourage you to listen to these experts share their wisdom and you can even share these episodes with family and friends who may benefit from the information on these topics.

Disclaimer: The views and opinions expressed by the medical experts in these episodes should not be taken as medical advice. These conversations are being provided for informational purposes only. Everyone’s situation is different, so please consult your healthcare professional for any and all matters regarding these topics.
